Notifications are settings within RunBuggy Marketplace and Hitch that notify users of updates to an order. These notification settings are user-specific and changing them only impacts how you receive notifications, not other users on your team. There are 3 types of notifications:
- Mobile Push – Pop-up notification on your mobile device from the RunBuggy app
- SMS – Text message
To access your notification settings:
- Log in to RunBuggy on a computer
- Click your name at the top right, then click Notification Settings in the dropdown menu.
Notification Types by User Role
The available notifications depend on your user role.
Types of user roles:
- Transporter Admin – An admin for a transport company.
- Driver – A driver for a transport company.
- Hitch Admin – The main admin for an entire Hitch instance.
- Hitch Company Admin – An admin for a company (i.e. a dealer) within a Hitch instance (more common).
- Shipper – Sends vehicles.
- Customer – Receives vehicles. No notifications available.
- Pick up/Drop off Contacts - Pick up and Drop off Contacts will only receive notifications if their contact information is added when an order is created.

Pick up/Drop Off Contacts
Pick up and Drop off Contacts will only receive notifications if their contact information is added when an order is created and “Notify this contact about the order” is toggled ON.
